Karma has been working across the arts sector for the last 15 years throughout Australia and New Zealand as a participatory/installation artist, arts therapist, and community arts project director. Karma has exhibited both nationally and internationally and regularly produces public art works and collaborations.
Karma ’s is the co-director of environmental installation project Imagine the Land, with Croatian/New Zealand artist Ekarasa Doblanovic the due founded the project in 2009. The project cultivates relationships between people, art and nature through the use of participatory arts practices and impermanent land based installations.

Karma originally from New Zealand has lived in worked in the northern Rivers for the last 6 years. She works through a number of organisations as an arts therapist and is the cordinator for the Links to Learning program for Social Futures (NRSDC). Additionally she has also been directing the award winning In.scribe Youth Arts Mentoring Project since 2013. The project works collaboratively with young people to engage them through arts practice, street art and positive community engagement. In 2015 Karma took the program along with a womens arts therapy program to Timor Leste to work with NGO many Hand International in the remote region of Los Palos. The same year she was invited to deliver a In.scribe community arts and health project in the Northern Territory to work in the remote Indigenous community of Alpurrurulam. As an public/community arts worker Karma ’s work is directed to inspire people to engage in creative practices and collaborative happenings.
